Spirit Charge is a kind of charge. It is a unique mechanic exclusive to Abyss-themed boss drops. For example, Lightpoacher grants the player character Spirit Burst, which consumes Spirit Charges to fire projectiles.
Several Abyssal monsters also use a version of Spirit Charges.
According to datamine, two Abyssal Liches - Amanamu, Liege of the Lightless and Ulaman, Sovereign of the Well - have the mod SpiritChargeTier3 - Recover 1% of Life when you lose a Spirit Charge (Hidden) (Intrinsic), allowing them to recover life upon using certain skills.
