Really terrific Mexican food. Place is very clean. They had me in and out in a very short period of time. I can’t remember the young ladies name, but I had a server that worked hard and did everything in a timely manner

The bad: This place is too far away from me The good: This place is too far away from me The super bad: my wife is going to hurt me when she finds out I came here without her. Yes, you read that correct the good and the bad are the same thing. Bad because this place is far but it's so tasteful and I love it. Drove 30 min out of my way to come here today. The good is be if this if this place was closer to me I can guarantee you in one year I'd go up a few Ibs. and more the years after. I like that they have traditional art and decoration to show the Hispanic culture. All the way from the Maya/Aztec area to one of the most famous and known comedian of the early 1900s cinema. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE BEST. FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. This place brings back memories from my childhood in Mexico. They have fresh waters here (literal translation) to aguas frescas. freshwater that has been flavored to traditional drinks in Mexico. Highly recommend them if you are not diabetic. OK, so enough about me reminiscing of my childhood. The tacos were amazing!!! The chorizo nachos are not the healthiest thing to get on the menu, but neither is a funnel cake when you go to a fair. Yet one Still wants it because the flavors are what you like. The cooks are always on the move and so are the waitresses. Don't skip on this place. it is kind of hidden next to Kroger. I am glad I found this place I have been looking for years for a place that is both clean and very lively. I'm sitting here writing this review trying to come up with something negative about this place and I think I finally found it. While the bathrooms were clean and look up to date with a urinal and a toilet. There was no paper to dry my hands. (Easily Fixed when I told them that they had run out). Ok time to slowly walk out to my car and reconsider eating that much. But id do it again. Make sure you say hi to the owner/manager/chef. Friendly guy and his kind wife is a waitress running around and making sure it's clean. Talked to booth of them and they are very passionate about their food and restaurant.

I’m from California, where Mexican cuisine is a staple, so I was skeptical about finding authentic flavors in Mississippi. That was until I stepped into Chuki’s Deli Mexicano. The place has a chill vibe, with an open kitchen where you can see the chefs working their magic. It’s casual and unpretentious, but what they’re serving up is anything but ordinary. I went for the cheesy chicken and rice. This dish was a game-changer. The chicken was tender, seasoned just right, and the rice had this perfect balance of flavors – not too overwhelming but definitely memorable. The cheese sauce? It tied everything together like a culinary bow. Then there was the chicken quesadilla, a dish my friend ordered. It was a thick, hearty quesadilla, loaded with grilled chicken. It’s rare to find a quesadilla that stands out, but this one did. The balance of crispy tortilla and juicy, well-seasoned chicken was spot on. The service matched the quality of the food – efficient, friendly, and with a knack for making you feel welcome. And yes, the food was so good that I completely forgot about taking pictures. So, here’s the scoop: Chuki’s Deli Mexicano is a must-visit if you’re in Mississippi and craving Mexican food. It’s a refreshing change from the typical fare and honestly, it’s some of the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of California. Trust me, it’s worth the trip.
