First of all THANKS for Rebecca the great teacher.
I live in Brazil, but I born in Italy in a small country called “Piana degli Albanesi” where Albanian traditions are still worshiped today. I also speak Albanian spoken in that city. It’s great to hear about Albanian people. Nice to hear about you.

Thanks, Rebecca!
I have a question. To Know is a static verb only when it is in the phrase: “I don’t know” or that’s static in any other phrase?
I asked it because the music group Abba has a music called “Knowing Me, Knowing You”? Can’t I say: “I’m still knowing the city” ?
How the best way to express that idea?
thanks a lot!

Can you delete my last message. I just find it:

Its a sweet ,smalll and awesome lecture. But one thing i didn’t understand in this video is stative verb.Madam could you please tell me that why verb “know” can not be used with continuous form in any situation or in which situation we could use knowing
rajpal90
Many stative verbs cannot be used in the continuous form and “know” is certainly one of them. You cannot use it that way at all! Please look up stative verbs in a good grammar book or online for more explanation or watch Ronnie’s video:
https://www.engvid.com/english-grammar-stative-verbs/
All the best to you!

Why can’t I use ‘how’ instead of ‘what’ in the #3?

I would like to ask you, Rebecca!
What do these sentences mean (above you dropped up like examples in your tutorial)?:
I don’t know what to do?
= I don’t know what I should do in this situation? (for example it is because I have not met a problem like this)
or
= I know to do nothing (I don’t know to do anything), I am helpless, powerless or incompetent so I am not able to do it.
And I don’t know what to say: ?
= I don’t know what I should say in this situation (to you, to her/his, to us/them)? (for example it is because I have not met a problem like this or I am afraid of what you will think or you will not understand me)
or
I know to say nothing (I don’t know to say anything), I am helpless, powerless or incompetent so I am not able to do it.
(for example, my teeth have been pulled out by a dentist and I am not able to talk. )
Please, let me know and explain them.
Thank you very much.
